For the first time in nearly 15 years, two vile new Autopsy tracks were recorded in September 2008, bringing together Chris Reifert, Danny Coralles and Eric Cutler for another slice of death & decay.

Danish melodic death/thrash band SUBMISSION, have signed a worldwide deal with BLISTERING RECORDS.

The band's second album “Code Of Conspiracy” will be released by BLISTERING RECORDS in early 2009.

Henning is most widely known for his two ground breaking CD's under the moniker "Frameshift", the first with James LaBrie, the second with Sebastian Bach. He also released 2 albums with his band Chain and 3 solo albums, the last one "Babysteps" was the last time we heard from him in the summer of 2006, but now he's back with vocalist Juan Roos who last worked with him on his solo album "Credit Where Credit is Due" the year before.

"Shadow's Mignon" was born out of an idea Henning Pauly had one day. He heard some classic metal in the car and decided to try to write some music in this style on his own. He employed the help of singer Juan Roos to give the project the definite metal vocal sound. At some point Keyboard player Stephan Kernbach brought over his Roland D50 for the official 80's keyboard sounds. He laid down some parts of his own, especially his signature Hammond B3 playing.

The music of the band is everything you would expect from the glory days of the 80's when guitar solos still screamed and vocals soared just like the eagles and dragons they were singing about. The album also features a few of the "must-have" ballads with all the classic chorusy guitars and keyboard sounds. "We were able to do so many things and use so many sounds we are told we "can't use anymore" today because they are out of date, so we went back to our roots and made music that cannot live without them.", says Henning.

"Henning has been with me almost since the beginning of the label, I think of him as an insanely talented little brother and I always enjoy what he puts out and this CD really took me back to the days when Dio ruled my turntable.", said Shawn Gordon, President of ProgRock Records.

“Domfeldt”, the third in the “Protocols of Fosen” trilogy from Norwegian Black Metallers SLAGMAUR, has now been re-released in Digipack format by Inferna-Profundus, under licence from the band’s own label Nekk Brekk Productions.

The Digipack version differs from the original demo with the guest track from Aptorian Demon having been replaced by a previously unreleased SLAGMAUR track that has never been heard before, and will include a new track written by Lt. Wardr, especially for this edition. The Digipack also has completely new artwork by the Norwegian artist Robert Høyem.

SLAGMAUR is a band known for using a variety of both classical and “metal” instruments that create layer upon layer of sinister sounds and eerie atmospheres, and defies any kind of categorisation within the Black Metal genre. Work on SLAGMAUR’s next release “Von Rov Shelter” is well under way, and it is anticipated that it will be finished late 2008 or early 2009. SLAGMAUR’s creator General Gribbsphiiser, together with vocalist Aatselgribb, is also working on a new release from TRAGEDIENS TRONE.

Caamora are proud to present: “Journey’s End… an acoustic anthology”. This double album features over 130 minutes of acoustic live performances from around the world, as well as a selection of never before heard demos, bonus tracks and interview footage.

In the build up to the release of ‘She - the rock opera’, songwriter/keyboard player/singer Clive Nolan alongside singer Agnieszka Swita performed around 30 concerts in countries such as England, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Poland, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Canada. ‘Journey’s End’ features a collection of moments from these performances. These live tracks also feature some great guest appearances: familiar ‘She’ faces such as Mark Westwood (guitar) and Christina Booth (voice), as well as new friends like Claudio Momberg from ‘SETI’ (keyboards) in Chile and Sebastian Medina from ‘William Gray’ (guitar) in Argentina.

This double album is a great testament to all the musical journeys and experiences that Nolan and Swita enjoyed as they spread the word about ‘She’. Beyond the live material, there is also a collection of demos that were made over the past few years – interesting to see how the songs developed for their final versions on ‘She’. The bonus songs include a track that was never used in the end, and the specially written ‘Grunwald’, featuring cello from Hugh McDowell (ex ELO).

The melodic metal bunch THE MYSTERY found a new six string tamer for a more powerfull stage performance of their newest release "Soulcatcher". The job is taken over by Stefan Weitzel, former guitar player of the German band STONEFISH. Musically nothing will change and THE MYSTERY will still play melodic oriented metal with a rockin' female voice.

His first performance was last saturday night at the Heavy Metal Thunder Festival in Esslingen, Germany.

Death Metallers DECREPITUS celebrated the November 01 release of “Break-The-Code” with a Halloween launch concert at the Ungdommens Hus in their hometown of Mo I Rana in northern Norway. The 6-track album is the first release from the young Norwegian band and appears on the newly formed Decrepitus Records label.

Formed in 2003 by former Vragvold guitarist AC, who left the Black Metal outfit to concentrate on Decrepitus, the band has close ties with his former associates, with drummer Askesorg, and the newly joined vocalist Vantro, performing with both bands. Completing the line up are Andreas Nilsen on guitar and Kanzer on bass. Svartravn of Svartravn Sorgtung, who is himself the bass player with Vragvold, performed all the vocals on “Break-The-Code”.

Commenting on the line up the guitarist said, “We come from quite a small town and most of us grew up together and started out playing in the same band, but, as frequently happens in these circumstances, our interests diverged as we started to develop our music. I wanted to play Death Metal, while Vragvold remained true to their Black Metal roots, and Svartravn has his own Industrial/Electronic projects. It’s not unusual for band members to be in several bands, especially in Norway, and we find that working in different genres makes it more interesting, and allows us to expand our individual ideas. This way we can still work together and remain friends, rather than killing each other out of musical frustration!”
